Heritage : Prehistoric Park

At the Prehistoric Park in Tarascon-sur-Ariege, young and old can discover the daily life of your ancestors. Over the course of a day, following numerous animations, you will learn how to hunt, to cave paint, to shape flint and make fire, all exactly as it was done 14 thousands years ago.

The Great Workshop, a museum area explains prehistoric art trought film, ancient objects and full size replicas, such as a facsimile of the Black Room of the Niaux cave, from the forbidden Niaux and the Marsoulas caves.

Open from April to October.
